Adaptation is slowly making its way on the global agenda. With a high level 
ministerial happening at the United Nations in New York, and workshops on media messaging in Cairo, the issue is wloly getting the attention it deserves. Over the past month i have been working with other members of SustainUS in putting a technical submission on adaptation to the UN Secretariat. Sometimes, if you want to make your voice heard, you have to play by the rules. This submission serves a part of the international Nairobi Work Programme on Adaptation, which is intended to provide the UN Convention and the Kyoto Protocol with technical
views in order to draft global policy.
